The basement

Unused patient coffins sit piled inside the pitch black  basement of an asylum in the Northeast United States...

these coffins creeps me out every time i see them. imagine what it would have been if i saw them for real...

i didnt get inside any of them because they were wet and moldy and full of sawdust stuffing... i have laid in a number of morgue trays in a few different state tho haha

how exactly do you paint with a flashlight?
do you just wave it around while the camera is snapping?

yep thats pretty much all there is to it.... i tend to swipe the light over everything in a few passes then bounce it off the ceiling or a wall for the rest of the exposure time... it takes a few tries to get a shot perfect but its much easier then trying to bring portable lights/reflectors into these places

no no they are stuffed with hay and some of the stuffy is unsettled and leaking.. these were never used coffins sitting in crates
